The solution then is simple – don’t resist!

I love it that the universe is expanding at the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second and this is going on indefinitely. We know we have 300-400million suns in our own galaxy and that our nearest neighbour galaxy Andromeda, is 2.5 million light years away. It’s such a great thought to hold: that everything is racing away from us at the speed of light. Yet here I am in the middle of it all, standing on this little rock, and in spite of being surrounded by that force, I can’t feel any of it! What I can do though, is to find that expansion within me. As I change my beliefs and thoughts, my inner world has tremendous shifts, sometimes gentle and slow but often I feel ripped open. It is as if the universe is pulling me apart helping me to keep up with its expansion. All pain is a resistance to love and I have found the tighter I hold onto pain or suffering the more I suffer because I am resisting that universal expansion. It is as if the angels are saying come this way, join us. When I resist change and flow it hurts. The solution then is simple – don’t resist!

A mix of Lavender and Grapefruit to stimulate the senses and stay healthy

I love doing steam inhalations at this time of year to keep my sinus’s clear and to prevent colds and flu. I think the body needs a helping hand in the winter. Smells have always fascinated me, since growing up in Hong Kong and wandering through the market stalls with all their exotic wares. In those days the smells were intoxicating and overwhelming and often hard to separate the smells of animals with the smells of cooking! These days I prefer my aromas to be simpler.  Flowers and herbs fill my house now ready to experiment with to create our new products.    

Our new blends are great for vaporisers and you can’t beat lemon and lavender at this time of year. I put a few drops of Amethyst crystal and Lavender blend with a few drops of Citrine Crystal and Grapefruit, lemon, lime blend into the vaporisor together and breathe in the stimulating mix of aromas. I am instantly taken back to summer fields teeming with flowers and fruit falling off the trees.
