Peace is abundant

It is easy to think the world is a fearful place. If you watch the news or get wrapped up in others stories of the world it is easy to get drawn into the world of drama and fear. I never listen to the news, I would rather spend my time carving out the world I do want and I know in order to do that I have to focus on a world that is of my making and not believe in a world according to another person’s belief.

I believe the world is a kind, safe, fun, abundant environment in which to thrive and that is my daily focus. We are in a universe of Like Attracting Like and so we do get that which we focus on. The world is filled with wonderful people doing the very best they can everyday of their lives. I refuse to have my world disrupted by a handful of people bent on hatred and war.

If everyone began to focus on creating their own world of peace and took their minds off the world leaders, the most wonderful thing would happen, the leaders would sound the call for war and NOBODY WOULD TURN UP!

Loving life and helping others on their path to happiness

Someone said to me the other day, “it’s all right for you, how do you know what suffering feels like?”

When you step up as a teacher people tend to project their beliefs and judgements all over you! I have worked long and hard on myself for the last 20 years changing myself from desperately anxious, ill all the time and really not sure if I wanted to be here at all, into someone who loves life. It is easy to think that life has always been that way for me and when someone is suffering it is hard for them to see that maybe my path has been pretty tough along the way too.

It’s always a matter of perspective and I no longer dwell on the past, preferring instead to see that everything I experienced both joyous and devastating has given me the tools, and skills to work with people who are in the pit of despair or anxiety. When I look back at my life I hardly recognise that sad and lonely young girl. It feels so alien to my life now and yet when I sit counselling another I can touch back to those dark days and offer a guiding light for someone else to follow.
I was so fortunate (although I think I created it with my constant enquiry) to have wonderful older and wiser people walk into my life at just the right time and offer me a hand out of the darkness and guide me gently into the light.

Now I love to reach behind me and grab the hands of those who are seeking peace from their troubled minds.

What fun it is walking this path together, is there anywhere better to be in the universe than HERE, RIGHT NOW! Thank you to all my teachers in the seen and unseen worlds for you love and patience whilst I walked towards the light.

Creating a Service of Loving Gratitude

There is nothing like the thrill of watching someone you have trained stepping into their power and embracing the role they were born to do. Samantha Goodchild – recent graduate of the School of Conscious Co-Creation has just taken her first funeral and huge congratulations to you Sam. It is such a big step choosing to hold that level of intensity whilst providing the family with a beautiful service to say their goodbyes in this life time. Creating sacred ceremony is such an honour and being able to do it in a format that honours the person’s beliefs and faith in his or her life is a joy. There are so many more options these days in how we say our goodbyes.

Did you know that we can now have, not only wicker coffins draped with flowers, but also cardboard coffins that have beautiful images of nature on them.

It’s important to create a service of loving gratitude and yes, it is possible to make it a joyous service of celebration. Often people come up to me after a service and say they feel happy and ask “is that normal, shouldn’t I be sad”. I suppose it depends where you think they are once they leave their body?
More and more people are asking us to help write their funerals whilst they are well, they know what they want, but more importantly they know what they don’t want!
I intend to be in a beautiful meadow, with songs, flowers and happy laughter, you won’t see my body anywhere near a crem and don’t anyone dare turn up in black!
