Long Luscious Locks with natural aromatherapy oils.

People often comment on my hair, how soft it is, and shiny! Well my secret is this. Wash and dry hair as normal, then put a couple of drops of Zephorium body oil onto the palm of your hand. Rub hands together to spread the oil then lightly rub your hands through your hair. Be careful to just lightly run your palms through your hair so that you don’t leave too much oil in one place. Less is definitely more with oil. Only work on hair from about 2 inches away from the scalp to the ends of the hair. If you get too near the scalp it can look greasy. Used correctly the oil gives an instant glossy, sleek look to hair without having to spend hours styling. It’s great for photos as the oil reflects back to the camera giving hair a lovely sheen. You can use any of the body oils to achieve a great look, and your hair will smell nice too! If I want an extra special look I use a couple of drops of the carrot and carnelian face oil which has a slight orange glow and on blond or grey hair this can really liven up your colour with that sun-kissed look.

Did you know the best way to cleanse your face is with oil?

Many people don’t realize that the most natural way to cleanse the face is with oil! It helps maintain the skins lubrication, dissolves impurities in the pores and feeds the skin with antioxidants which help prevent wrinkles….

Here is what to do

Pour a little oil onto your fingers and gently smooth the oil over your face. Massage gently allowing the oil to soften the impurities. Spend more time on areas that suffer with blackheads or spots. Run a facecloth under a hot tap and then wring it out. Put over your face until it cools. This opens the pores slightly. When cool wipe off the excess oil and impurities. Now run the facecloth under a cold tap and wring it out. Place this over your face to tighten the pores….. Glorious glowing skin. Don’t forget to wash your facecloth regularly.

New Face Serums

Our face serums seems to be gathering quite a following. Launched quietly in April we haven’t really even got them on the website properly yet. It’s mostly been word of mouth and that is spreading like wild fire. I started to show them to friends and clients and now people are ringing up and asking where to buy them.


I am using the carrot oil (in the carnelian orange bottle) myself at the moment and have been using it for a couple of months. I have been experimenting on myself (as is my way) and am finding the results really impressive. I have been using it morning and night on my hands and face and watching the results with great interest.

I had started to get brown sun spots on my hands due to my overexposure to the sun as a kid in Hong Kong then frying in Spain for 20 years whilst visiting my dad who lived there! I was born in the days when we used to put olive oil on our skin as a suntan lotion and being fair skinned, I used to peel on a regular basis so am keen to repair the damage done.
Carrot oil is full of vitamin A and a wonderful skin repair oil. Most facial creams have an artificial chemical vitamin A formula in them, but why not use the real thing?

When we were formulating the recipe we initially made it too strong and I we ended up with a Dale Winton carrot tan! Now we have perfected it and the carnelian oil does give you a lovely slight sun kissed glow. Saves a fortune on fake tan.

Did I mention my sun spots have gone from my hands and they look younger and plumper than they have for years.
